Jessica Temm

Hi, I’m Jessica Temm. I earned my Bachelor of Science in nursing from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin and my Master of Science in nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I spent years working as a registered nurse in the operating room, intensive care unit, and outpatient perioperative surgery. I later transitioned into gastroenterology, where I spent almost three years developing my skills in patient assessment and procedural care.

My path to health care started when I was young. My grandmother was a nurse, and hearing her stories showed me how meaningful and compassionate this work can be. That early influence has stayed with me throughout my career, and I hope to continue my grandmother’s legacy. I crossed paths with Dr. Walker through my surgical background, and when the opportunity came to join her at Joplin Ear Nose & Throat, it felt like the perfect fit. The teamwork, support, and mentorship I have experienced through Dr. Walker and Dr. Long have made this transition into a new specialty incredibly rewarding.

Outside work, I love being home with my husband, Andrew, and our two boys. They keep life unpredictable and full of laughter, and watching the daily chaos of raising kids unfold is one of my greatest joys.

I’m excited to be part of a practice that offers patient-centered ENT care that is rooted in clear communication and compassion.
